"TEDxUNF reflects University of Niagara Falls Canada's commitment to bringing people together to share ideas that spark innovation and meaningful change," said Raquel Benitez Rojas, Associate Dean of UNF's Master of Arts in Digital Media and Global Communications program and co-organizer of the event. "We are proud to convene leaders from across sectors and invite the broader community to be part of this conversation."
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, live speakers combine with TED Talks videos to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
