For 100 years, Alberta University of the Arts has been a place where creativity takes shape, artists discover their voices and lifelong connections are made. Every student, graduate, faculty member, staff member, supporter and partner has helped shape the University's story. On October 1, we're inviting the entire AUArts community back to campus to celebrate this extraordinary milestone.
The AUArts Centennial Celebration marks the culmination of the University's centennial year with an evening that honours the past, celebrates the present and looks ahead to the next century of creativity and artistic excellence.

Throughout the evening, campus will come alive with experiences that celebrate the creativity and community at the heart of AUArts. Guests will be invited to explore exhibitions, take part in hands-on activities, connect with fellow alumni and discover the work and contributions of students, faculty and staff.

Curated tours of Bookends, a solo exhibition featuring AUArts alum Elaine Cameron-Weir at Illingworth Kerr Gallery

A special talk with art historian Jennifer Salahub (Professor Emeritus) about connections between art, history and the trajectories they create

Visits to the Lodgepole Center, including a workshop with Stoney Nakoda artist, designer and creative entrepreneur Bodeen Twoyoungmen

A special auction preview room featuring artworks with 100% of proceeds supporting AUArts student awards. The auction will be hosted by LEVIS Fine Art Auctions and Appraisals.

The evening will recognize the alumni, supporters, donors, collaborators and partners whose contributions have shaped AUArts over the past 100 years, while celebrating the students and creative leaders who will help create its future.
