MCMASTER UNIVERSITY
The 20th Annual President's Awards honours outstanding employees

June 5, 2018

The annual President's Awards for outstanding service was held on May 31 to recognize and thank 75 employee nominees who went above and beyond their regular roles and responsibilities this past year. This group provided exceptional service, contributed to the efficiency and effectiveness of University operations or had an impact on the reputation of McMaster.

This is the 20th anniversary of the President's Awards celebrations, and to mark the occasion, President and Vice-Chancellor Patrick Deane announced a new President's Award that will be part of the celebrations starting next year. The Rising Star Award will be granted based on recommendations from the advisory committee for an employee new to their role.

"Each year I'm honoured to participate in this event and meet the individuals who are making a difference at McMaster," said President and Vice-Chancellor, Patrick Deane. "We have so many talented individuals in our community, and it's a privilege to recognize them."
