Campus flags will be lowered Wednesday, May 1, in memory of retired professor Mahesh Mehta, who died April 26.
Dr. Mehta joined the UWindsor faculty in 1969 as assistant professor in the Department of Asian Studies, and received promotion to associate professor in 1973. Mehta was promoted in 1983 to professor in the Department of Religious Studies, a position he held until his retirement in 1999.
