CityLAB, Hamilton's social innovation hub, proudly shares their latest innovative projects with the community. Join us to see, and hear, about the student-led inspiring and collaborative projects that cover all facets of community and city building. From facilitating climate change readiness, developing community art programs, delving into the Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) service animal policy, promoting library services to the challenge of retaining international students in Hamilton, the projects exemplify the ingenuity, creativity and out of the box' thinking of Hamilton students guided by academic and city staff.
The CityLAB project showcase is a time to celebrate and share all of the hard work put in by students, faculty and City staff on this semester's projects. Learn about how our projects are making Hamilton a more vibrant, healthy and sustainable city.
CityLAB is a pilot program between the City of Hamilton, McMaster University, Mohawk College and Redeemer University College that brings together student, academic, and civic leaders to co-create a better Hamilton for all. Our vision is to provoke students and city leadership to inspire, energize, and build a healthy, sustainable, and vibrant Hamilton.
