1. The nitôncipâmin omâ Student Success Program (OMA Program)

 

Are you a first-year Indigenous student? Then the nitôncipâmin omâ Student Success Program is for you. It's designed to provide you with the supports you need to succeed. We'll connect you with other first-year students, you'll get detailed class review sessions, priority access to tutors, cultural and social programs and scholarship opportunities. You might even get your first year tuition paid!

2. The Neekaneewak Living-Learning Community

It's one thing to study smart, it's another to live smart. The Neekaneewak Living-Learning Community is a home away from home for Indigenous and non-Indigenous students. In addition to a great place to live it offers academic support, mentorship, cultural events and leadership development opportunities. Gain knowledge and wisdom from both traditional and emerging ways of knowing.

3. Indigenous Career Education (ICE)

Once you have achieved all your academic goals you're going to want to find the perfect employment opportunity. That's where Indigenous Career Education (ICE) comes in. Start planning for your career, acquire resume and interview preparation coaching, take advantage of co-op and internship opportunities, attend employment seminars, discover financial assistance and scholarships, and more. You'll find everything you need to launch your career at Indigenous Career Education.

4. pamināwasowin Child Care Centre

Achieving academic success is difficult enough - add to it the responsibilities of raising a child and it can really be daunting. We know that some students need some extra supports to help them achieve their academic goals. The recently renovated pamināwasowin Child Care Centre is conveniently located right on campus. It can accommodate up to 90 children and it's one of the lowest-cost daycares in Regina.
