With hearts full and shovels in hand, the Lakeland Catholic School Division officially broke ground on the new Holy Family Catholic School, marking the beginning of an inspiring new chapter for Catholic education in the region. This K-12 school has been thoughtfully designed to meet the diverse and evolving needs of students and families in Waskatenau and surrounding communities.
The new facility will feature a wide array of modern learning spaces, including a fully equipped food lab, comprehensive CTS (Career and Technology Studies) areas for woodworking, welding, and skilled trades, as well as a versatile learning commons that will include a community-accessible library a shared space designed to foster lifelong learning and engagement beyond the classroom.
