The Faculty of Arts Awards and Celebration of Excellence honours outstanding members of the Arts community whose work advances creativity, scholarship, leadership and positive change at the University of Calgary and beyond.

Held April 28, 2026, at the MacEwan Hall Ballroom, this year's celebration recognized 17 individuals and teams whose contributions reflect the Arts' priorities of connection; digital futures; health and wellness; and justice, equity and transformation.
"The Arts Awards offer a fitting and celebratory close to our academic year. It is an opportunity to honour the achievements, diversity and strengths within our teaching, research, creative and administrative community," said interim dean Dr. Leslie Reid, MSc'97, PhD'03.
