Pembina Hills School Division is proud to recognize Riki Rolof of Swan Hills School for her outstanding commitment to service, leadership, and helping others, making a meaningful impact on her school community.

Three years ago, Riki began working in the Swan Hills School library as a work experience student. What started as an opportunity to earn credits quickly became a passion. Even after completing all of her required work experience hours, she chose to continue volunteering and working in the library because of her genuine desire to help others.
Over the years, she has dedicated countless hours supporting students from Kindergarten to Grade 9, including students with diverse learning needs. Through this work, she has demonstrated patience, empathy, kindness, and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure every student feels supported and valued.
Her experiences have inspired her future career path. In September 2025, she began pursuing an Educational Assistant certificate through Northern Lakes College and is now nearing completion of the program. Her passion for working with children has also led her to pursue a future career in teaching, where she hopes to continue making a positive difference in the lives of young people.
What stands out most about this student is her commitment to helping others. She understands that leadership is not just about taking charge it is about serving, supporting, and encouraging those around you. Her dedication to education and her desire to make a difference reflect the very qualities that this award seeks to recognize.
The school board is pleased to present Riki with the Citizenship Award in recognition of the positive contributions she makes in her school and community.
Congratulations Riki!
