The School of Business at Okanagan College is celebrating an outstanding achievement after teams from all five competition streams have advanced to the final round of the Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (I.C.B.C.) hosted by Queen's University. The prestigious competition is Canada's oldest, largest and most prestigious undergraduate business case competition.

This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication, expertise, and collaborative spirit of our students and coaches. It also highlights the strong interdisciplinary collaboration within Okanagan College, as several teams benefited from the expertise of faculty members in the Communications Department. This cross departmental support demonstrates the collaborative spirit that defines our College community.
"Our students have shown incredible dedication and resilience throughout this journey," said Adrian Fontenla, Department Chair and coach. "This accomplishment is theirs, and we could not be prouder to see them shine on a national stage. Their hard work is the heart of our success."
Okanagan College is the only college to reach the final round in any category this year and the only Canadian school to qualify for all five competition streams. In the finals, OC teams will compete against leading institutions such as the University of Waterloo, Penn State University, University of Alberta, University of Massachusetts, Queen's University and Saint Mary's University.
"Our students continue to demonstrate what is possible when talent, curiosity and hard work come together," said Joe Baker, Dean of the School of Business. "Advancing to the final round across all streams affirms the strength of our programs and the dedication of the faculty who support them. We are incredibly proud of what these teams have achieved."
