COLLEGE OF NEW CALEDONIA
CNC invites community to explore possibilities at Prince George Open House

October 21, 2026

The College of New Caledonia (CNC) is opening its doors to future students, families and community members for its annual Prince George Open House on Thursday, October 22, from 3 to 7 p.m.

The event offers an opportunity to explore CNC's more than 80 programs, meet instructors and students, tour the campus and discover the many pathways available through post-secondary education.

Whether visitors are considering their first steps after high school, looking to change careers or interested in upgrading their skills, Open House provides a chance to learn what CNC has to offer.

"Education has the power to change lives and create futures, and Open House is a wonderful opportunity for people to discover what that could look like for them," said Cindy Heitman, CNC President. "Whether someone has a clear career goal or is just beginning to explore their options, we want them to see the possibilities available right here in their community."

Throughout the afternoon and evening, visitors can participate in hands-on activities and program demonstrations, connect with instructors and learn about student services, financial aid, academic advising and transfer opportunities.

There will also be plenty of opportunities for fun, including games, prizes and a 360-degree photo booth.

Those attending Open House will receive an application code to waive CNC's application fee and have the opportunity to enter a draw for a $1,000 tuition credit.

"Choosing what to study and where to study is an important decision," added Heitman. "We want people to feel welcome, ask questions and leave knowing there is a place for them at CNC."
