In January 2026, the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT) announced that it will wind down its operations, with select programs transitioning to RRC Polytech. Following a comprehensive academic review, 19 MITT programs will be delivered by RRC Polytech starting this fall for the 2026-27 academic year.
Most programs will be offered at the RRC Polytech South Winnipeg Campus, which was formerly MITT's Henlow, Fultz, and Pembina locations. You'll notice signage for MITT and RRC Polytech at the South Winnipeg Campus, as current (in-progress) students finish their programs with MITT.
