The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) has recognized 26 University of New Brunswick athletes on the Saint John campus with their annual National Scholar Award, celebrating their academic and athletic achievements.

The National Scholar Award recognizes student-athletes who achieve honours standing in academics while competing in intercollegiate athletics. To receive the honour, a student-athlete must achieve a 3.7 GPA or higher and play a varsity sport in the CCAA.
"We are immensely proud of all the students who have received the CCAA National Scholars Award," said Dr. Petra Hauf, UNB's provost and vice-president academic. "Their exceptional ability to balance academic excellence with athletic achievements is truly commendable. These students exemplify the dedication and spirit of our university."
