Seven teams in the Gerald Schwartz School of Business put their skills to the test on Friday November 8th as students in Dr. Mark Fuller's BSAD 451: Cases in International Business course hosted the third annual Schwartz International Business Case Competition.

Teams were challenged to analyze and present a business case while also collecting non-perishable food items for Kevin's Corner Food Resource Centre, the StFX food bank.

"Teams were assessed based on their content, presentation skills, and slide decks in addition to the number of food items and the weight of food items raised. Over 613 food items weighing some 304 kg (670 pounds) were raised from this one event," Dr. Fuller says.

Taking first place in the competition was the team of Isaac Hierlihy, Paul Eades, and Jona White. The winning team was mentored by Luke White and Carling Kuhlberg.
