Enactus Saint Mary's was invited to represent Enactus Canada at the Enactus Mexico 2026 National Exposition, bringing Saint Mary's student entrepreneurs to an international stage in Mexico City.
Held August 23-24 at Centro Banamex, the event brought together approximately 500 students from 15 schools, showcasing nearly 50 projects across three competitions: Next Gen Leaders, Mentoractus and the National Competition. Teams presented innovative ideas that combined technology, entrepreneurship and sustainability to address real-world challenges.

Alongside Saint Mary's University, students from the United States, Puerto Rico and Colombia also showcased their projects alongside teams from Enactus Mexico, creating an opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from different approaches and connect with students across the Enactus network.
Representing Canada in Mexico was more than a competition; it was a chance to learn, connect and bring the Saint Mary's perspective to an international audience. For Mia Makhlouf, Co-President of Enactus SMU and an Engineering student, the experience was an exciting opportunity to connect with students and entrepreneurs from around the world.
The event gave students the opportunity to apply business and entrepreneurial skills to meaningful social and environmental challenges in their communities.
