NOVA SCOTIA COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Free tool connects students to local housing

August 11, 2021

Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) has partnered with Places4Students.com to connect learners and landlords in our campus communities across the province.

Using Places4Students.com, students can view and apply for listed housing and accommodation options in their campus communities such as apartments, sublets or single rooms. Landlords wishing to list available long-term or short-term rental opportunities can do so for free at Places4Students.com or by phoning 1-866-766-0767.

"NSCC students, especially international students, are happy and grateful to be in a safe place where they have their own room and desk. They are thankful, socially connected and they don't feel alone," says community landlord and property manager, Noelle McGough of Monk & Nun Interiors. "Finding a place to live when they come from far away is such a relief and it takes a huge weight off their shoulders."

McGough adds, "I am very excited about this partnership. if I had 10 more rooms, I would know that I could reach out to NSCC, use Places4students.com and my ad could be quickly promoted to fill the need with students that are also supported by the institution."
