With the world's eyes fixed on the launch pad for the Artemis II mission that is currently scheduled for April 1, 2026, Let's Talk Science is ensuring that youth in Canada aren't just watching history from the sidelines, but are actively engaging with the science taking them there.
Today, Let's Talk Science is proud to showcase its suite of free, bilingual space exploration resources. Available to educators, parents, and youth from Early Years to Grade 12, these high-quality, curriculum-aligned STEM resources are designed to bring the excitement of the lunar frontier directly into Canadian classrooms and living rooms.
Connecting Classrooms to the Cosmos
Canadian Space Agency (CSA) Astronaut Jeremy Hansen will make history as the first Canadian to go on a mission around the Moon and Let's Talk Science is bridging the gap between deep-space milestones and daily learning. In a special highlight of this mission, Jeremy will answer questions submitted from classes across Canada during a space downlink. This unique Q&A will be available to watch on demand for all who register, providing youth with a direct connection to the historic journey.
"Space has a unique power to ignite curiosity," says Dr. Bonnie Schmidt, Founder and President of Let's Talk Science. "By providing these resources and direct access to astronauts like Jeremy at no cost, we are removing barriers to STEM education and inspiring the 'Artemis Generation' to follow in his footsteps."
