The governments of Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia have renewed an agreement that secures priority access to seats in additional high-demand programs at Dalhousie University for students from PEI.
This renewed agreement reflects a continued commitment to interprovincial collaboration between PEI and Nova Scotia, ensuring Island students gain access to specialized post-secondary program opportunities not currently available within PEI.
The agreement covers the 2026-27 and 2027-28 academic years and provides preferred admission for fifty first-year students to designated seats allocated across the following programs:
- Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Dentistry (DDS)
- Medicine (MD)
- Occupational Therapy (MSc)
- Physiotherapy (MSc)
- Respiratory Therapy (BHSc)
- Nuclear Medicine (BHSc)
- Ultrasound (BHSc)
- Speech Language Pathology (MSc)
- Audiology (MSc)
- Physician Assistant (MPAS)
