The Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ) will serve as host school for the major annual conference of the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education (ICHRIE) that will be held in Montréal from July 24 to 26, 2024. This event will be attended by professionals and researchers from around the world who work in the different sectors of the tourism, hotel and restaurant industry. The goal is to stimulate dialogue, promote innovation, and foster collaboration to shape a sustainable and prosperous future for the industry.
As Canada's leading hotel management school, the ITHQ is supporting the ICHRIE's organizing committee as it puts together this major event. The institution will act as host school and therefore as a connector that promotes the conference among key industry players and associations in the tourism, hospitality and restaurant sectors. ITHQ instructors and students will also develop a tourism itinerary for international participants to help them get to know Montréal. During the conference, ITHQ research teams will present results from their recent work, and a number of students will be on hand to welcome the guests.
