The Honourable Krista Lynn Howell, Minister of Education, announced the three-year appointment of Rex Gibbons to the Memorial University Board of Regents on March 15.
The Board of Regents, along with Memorial University's Senate, is responsible for all operational matters of the institution including programming, qualifications of employees, and other matters deemed to be in the best interest of the institution. The Board of Regents consists of individuals with a diverse range of knowledge and expertise.
The Provincial Government continues to support Memorial University as it moves through the implementation process of recommendations from the Auditor General's report.
