The John Abbott College Foundation celebrates its brightest students

Following the tradition of lending support to the students of John Abbott College, the Foundation presented bursaries and scholarships at its Annual Scholarship, Bursary & Awards Ceremony on June 9^th 2023.

Held in the John Abbott Library, this occasion was the chance for recipients to meet those responsible for their financial donations face to face. The awards are provided by private donors, businesses, industry associations, community organizations, and College employees. In doing this, the John Abbott Foundation helps the College reach its objective of maintaining accessibility and promoting academic persistence at the CEGEP level.

The John Abbott College Foundation wholly supports the College's mission statement which is to provide an excellent education for our students within a stimulating learning environment that will enhance their development and potential for success. We are proud to announce that through our yearly fundraising events such as the Loonie line, the Golf Tournament and the Silent Auction, the John Abbott Foundation has managed to raise over $123,000 during the 2022-23 school year. These funds will go directly to students in need of financial assistance.

We wish our students a wonderful summer break and continued success.
