Michael Randall, Director General of Cégep Heritage College, is very pleased to announce the election of Murielle Laberge to the position of Chair of the Board of Governors for the College, effective January 25, 2017. Ms. Laberge will be replacing Mr. Roy Bonin, who completed his term on the Board.
Murielle Laberge is a human resources professor in the Department of industrial relations at the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO). She holds a PhD in industrial relations from the University of Montreal. Her research interests include various aspects of human resources management, in particular, organizational commitment.
Professor Laberge has ten years of experience in university management and more than 20 years as a human resources consultant. As such, she helped several private and public sector organizations in the improvement of organizational environment and in the identification and development of human potential. She is affiliated with the Centre d'études et de recherches en psychologie industrielle et comportement organisationnel (CERPICO). She is also a member representing the education community on the Board of Directors of the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de l'Outaouais (CISSSO).
Ms. Laberge joined the Board of Governors of Cégep Heritage College on June 20, 2012.
