NAIT welcomes Rachel Smith, who was appointed to NAIT's Board of Governors for a three-year term on June 20, 2024.
Smith brings to the board more than 18 years' experience as a professional engineer in Canada's energy sector with roles that span technical, operations and commercial. She has held several key positions at Air Products Canada Ltd. since joining the organization in 2013 and currently serves as the vice-president and general manager, Canada, responsible for the Air Products hydrogen and industrial gas business across Canada, including the existing operations, supply relationships and growth strategy.
Prior to joining Air Products Canada Ltd., Smith held various engineering, operations, and commercial roles in Canada's energy sector. She obtained her bachelor's degree in biochemical engineering and master's degree in engineering science, both from the University of Western Ontario, and received her MBA from the University of Alberta.
