St. Mary's University has been selected as a recipient of funding through The Mental Health Professions Enrollment Expansion grant program. This highlights our ongoing commitment to mental health education and the growth of our university.
St. Mary's University is excited to expand our BA Psychology degree in Calgary next year thanks to the province's increased investment in education. This support also will allow our university to provide every course required for graduates wanting to enter health-focused professions in areas like medicine, mental health and addictions.
Dr. Sinda Vanderpool, President and Vice-Chancellor, St. Mary's University
This grant will play a pivotal role in enhancing our capacity to educate and train more professionals in the mental health field, addressing a critical need in our communities. The funding will support the expansion of our programs, enabling us to increase enrollment and offer more opportunities for our students to pursue careers in this essential sector.
