COLLEGE OF NEW CALEDONIA
Vision for the roles of CNC's campuses

August 22, 2024

At the College of New Caledonia, our vision is to foster a network of campuses that serve as dynamic hubs for education, growth, and community engagement.

In larger locations like Prince George and Quesnel, CNC's campuses will offer a comprehensive array of programs and services, providing students with access to the resources they need to achieve their educational and career objectives.

In smaller communities such as Vanderhoof, Mackenzie, Fort St James and Burns Lake, CNC's community campuses will serve as vital stepping stones, providing in-person continuing education and adult upgrading, and where student demand and program feasibility is possible virtual and/or in person delivery of trades, academic and vocational programming.

These campuses will act as community hubs, connecting students with on-site learning support and a combination of in-person and virtual services, thereby promoting sustainable access to education and success.

Working with First Nations partners, CNC's network of campuses will use in-person and/or virtual methods to deliver CNC programming and services to learners in Indigenous communities where feasible.

By investing in all campus locations, CNC commits to a future where every student has the tools to succeed, supported by sustainable resources and innovative delivery methods.
