College of the Rockies invites communities throughout the region to its annual Open House on Saturday, October 5 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Whether you're considering pursuing a credential or simply looking to explore a new hobby, this event has something for everyone.
A satellite demonstration from science instructor Dr. Nicholas Kinar is just one of the cool demonstrations that will take place during College of the Rockies' Open House on Saturday, October 5 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
"We look forward to welcoming community members to our Cranbrook campus to immerse themselves in hands-on experiences, including high-tech simulators, engaging satellite demonstrations, and interactive displays," said Paul Vogt, President and CEO. "This event is a perfect time to learn about the College's wide range of programs, how to fund your education, to discover Work Integrated Learning and Co-Curricular opportunities, and more."
Curious about our growing campus? Guided tours will take place every 30 minutes through all campus buildings including the trades shops and hair salon. Faculty in the new Computer Information Services Technician program will be on-hand to answer questions as will representatives from student services with details of education advising, work integrated learning, and co-curricular records. You'll also want to be sure to enter the draw for a $1,000 tuition voucher.
Still in high school? Learn about dual credit opportunities, including Youth Train in Trades, which provide the opportunity to get high school and post-secondary credit at the same time.
