Eight NLC students showcased their skills at the Skills BC Provincial Competition last week (April 23) in Abbotsford, and three came back with accolades!
Tyson Nielsen and Alexander Kay both won gold medals in their electrician divisions, and Daniella Sandoval-Caballero took silver in esthetics.
Other NLC students competing were Isaac Offeh Boadu and Elain Buot in aircraft maintenance; James Bolden in carpentry; Danika McPherson in Hairstyling, and Bailey Shoemaker in welding.
Because Tyson and Alexander earned gold, they have earned the right to compete at the Skills Canada National Competition in Québec City at the end of May.
Congratulations to all our students! We're so proud of you!
