Matt Maston, director of accessibility and student wellness, will take on the role of VP, international and student affairs on an interim basis effective July 1.
Maston has worked at Mount Allison since 2012, first as a disability services advisor in the University's Meighen Centre and then as interim director, accessibility and student wellness before taking on the permanent role.
Earlier this spring, Anne Comfort, vice-president, international and student affairs, announced her retirement. Her last day in the office will be Friday, June 28.
The University will be planning a comprehensive search for a permanent VP, international and student affairs and will keep you informed throughout the process. In the meantime, we are confident that Maston's dedication to students will ensure strong leadership and ongoing support for the Student Affairs office. Thank you to Matt for stepping into this role.
