Just inside the main entrance of Singer Hall - the home of the University of New Brunswick's faculty of management - hangs the Alumni Wall of Fame; it's a tribute to graduates whose careers have not only been successful but have made a meaningful impact on their professions and communities. Each name reflects leadership, vision and achievement that began at UNB.

The newest name to join this distinguished list is Lori Clark (BBA '90), President and CEO of NB Power. Lori's career is a story of breaking barriers and shaping the future with courage and conviction. In addition to adding her to the Wall of Fame, the faculty of management presented Lori with the Alumni Certificate of Achievement at the Annual Business Awards Dinner on Nov. 27.
"The Wall of Fame is more than a display; it's a symbol of excellence and inspiration. It hangs in the entrance of Singer Hall, so every student, faculty member and visitor sees the legacy of leadership that began right here at UNB," said Dr. Joseph Abekah, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs, at the induction celebration on Nov. 28.
Lori Clark is the first woman to lead NB Power in its 100+ year history and the first female Chief Nuclear Officer in Canada to head a utility with a nuclear plant. Today, she leads a team serving nearly 400,000 customers, guiding New Brunswick's clean energy transition while ensuring safe, reliable, and affordable power.
Her professional journey began at UNB, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. From there, she built a dynamic career spanning finance, human resources, regulatory affairs and operations, ultimately leading to a role in the CEO's office.
Her commitment to lifelong learning continued with advanced studies at MIT, Rotman, and Wharton, reinforcing the power of curiosity and growth.
As UNB President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Paul Mazerolle stated, "Exceptional visionaries like Lori exemplify how strong leadership drives business excellence and transformational change."
Lori Clark's leadership is defined by integrity, resilience, and authenticity qualities that resonate deeply with students. Her name on the Wall of Fame is more than recognition; it's a challenge and an inspiration.
