CANADIAN MEMORIAL CHIROPRACTIC COLLEGE
CMCC Announces Associate VP Student Services, Alumni and Communications

October 14, 2026

The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Patti Scott as Associate Vice President, Student Services, Alumni and Communications.

In her new role, Scott will provide executive leadership across the full student lifecycle, bringing together strategic enrolment management, student success and wellbeing, special events, marketing-communications, and institutional partnerships. Scott holds a BA in Mass Communication and English, an MEd, and additional post-graduate training in Marketing Management.

Scott joined the Executive Leadership Team on June 1 as part of her transition into the role, succeeding Mara Bartolucci, who served as Associate Vice President, Institutional Advancement and Communications. CMCC extends its sincere thanks to Bartolucci for her years of leadership, commitment, and contributions to the institution's growth and success.  Bartolucci successfully controlled costs, led important personnel and organizational changes within the department and sustained communications and alumni engagement activities for more than a decade. We wish her every happiness in her retirement and thank her for the lasting impact she has made on the CMCC community.

With over a decade at CMCC, most recently as Registrar, Scott has supported the advancement of CMCC's mission by strengthening student success and ensuring compliance with legislative and accreditation requirements. Most recently, she led the Student Services team through the CCE-US accreditation process, where CMCC was commended for outstanding student support, and represented the Registrar and Student Services portfolio during the Master's in MSK Health submission process to PEQAB and the Minister's Office. She has fostered a culture of service excellence, equity, transparency and continuous improvement while expanding institutional articulation agreements and streamlining pathways that support student progression and program completion.

"Scott leads with clarity and warmth and is widely recognized for her commitment to strengthening the student experience," says President Dr. Christine Bradaric-Baus. "The leadership she has demonstrated through important institutional events, including Convocation and Student Awards, will carry into her new portfolio as we continue to find new ways to engage the campus community, our alumni, and external partners."

"I look forward to working with the executive team and continuing to advance the support we provide to students, fostering a strong sense of belonging and connection, and cultivating meaningful relationships with our alumni that continue long after graduation. By connecting student support with lifelong engagement, we can build a stronger, more connected community and a lasting relationship with CMCC," says Scott.

Patti will be succeeded as registrar by Dr. Joel Weisberg, BSc., DC.
