Canadore College welcomes the Ontario government's decision to invest new funding in the postsecondary education sector. The new Postsecondary Education Sustainability Fund is a positive step as we continue to provide the best and most market-driven college education for our students.
We are also pleased to see legislation being introduced that, if passed, will support student mental health and safe and inclusive campuses. Canadore already provides a range of programs in these areas to support a secure and inclusive learning environment for our students.
The new sustainability fund is only one facet of the Minister's announcement. We are reviewing the details announced today and we will have more to say once we have assessed the potential impact on the College.
