April 25, 2025

Northwest Employment Works, a service of Confederation College, will host its Annual New Beginnings Spring Job Fair on Wednesday, April 30, at the Memorial Arena in Dryden.

Running from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the event will bring together job seekers and employers from a wide range of industries across the region. Designed to support workforce development and career exploration, the job fair offers participants the opportunity to network with local businesses, learn about available roles and connect with employment professionals for career advice.

"This job fair continues to be an important tool for helping individuals take the next step in their employment journey," said Carol Diehl, Employment Advisor at Northwest Employment Works' Dryden office. "It also gives local employers a chance to engage with prospective candidates and share what their organizations have to offer."

Employers from retail, health care, skilled trades, and public service sectors are expected to attend. Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their résumé and dress professionally. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
