Please join us in welcoming Julianna Panontin to the School of Health, Negahneewin, and Community Services! Julianna is a new full-time faculty member teaching in the Personal Support Worker Program (PSW).
Julianna's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Masters of Nursing, with a Teaching focus, and is presently in her Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing. It is evident that Julianna has a passion for lifelong learning as well as a passion for PSW having taught many PSW courses for OSHKI-Pimache-O-Win, and within the various PSW streams here at the College.
Julianna has experience in curriculum development, has been a subject matter expert for PSW, and has provided leadership in her coordinator role for the Accelerated PSW program.
Julianna also has bedside experience working previously as a PSW and most currently as a Registered Nurse at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center. The students will benefit from Julianna's knowledge, experience, and skills and look forward to the upcoming academic year.
