Cultures from around the world will be on full display at Fleming College's Sutherland Campus during their 2024 Multicultural Showcase, happening November 21 and November 22.
Hosted by Fleming's International Student Services, this two-day event celebrates the traditions of its diverse community, showcasing a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds.
This year's showcase features singers, dancers, and cultural demonstrations from across the globe, including China, India, Nepal, Vietnam, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, The Philippines, Canada, and the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nations.
"The multicultural showcase is such a powerful way to spotlight the incredible traditions and talents from our students, staff, and community members," says Laura Gunning, Associate Vice-President, International. "Diversity is one of the things that makes our campus so special, and celebrating that with this event is a true highlight every year."
The showcase is free to attend, accessible and suitable for all ages. Performances and events run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the main foyer each day. Free parking is available in the Oak parking lot.
