Lambton College plans to take the Progressive Auto Sales Arena from a buzz to a roar during an upcoming Sarnia Sting game.
On Wednesday, October 4, the College is hosting Lions Night @ The Sting as they take on the Kitchener Rangers in regular season action.
The 2nd annual fun-filled event will see Sarnia's players hit the ice outfitted in blue limited-edition Lambton Lions jerseys featuring the Sting logo.
As a celebration of the two organizations' long-standing relationship, tickets are being offered for $10. The special discounted rate is available exclusively through the Lambton College Foundation online.
Organizers say that Lions Night @ Sting will be more than a hockey game, and they have worked hard to ensure fans are treated to a full Lambton College experience. The first 500 guests to arrive will receive celebratory swag - both clappers and fan towels will be available.
In addition to creating a sea of blue in the stands, spectators will also be treated to entertaining intermission games, concourse tables, special prizes, and a Chuck-a-Puck fundraiser which will benefit mental health support funds for Lambton College students! New this year will be a food drive for The Lion's Heart - the on-campus student food bank at Lambton College.
