Mohawk College continues to stand out as one of Canada's top research colleges, ranking 7th nationally and 4th in Ontario in the annual Research Infosource rankings for 2024. This marks another year in the top 10 for the college and its applied research division, IDEAWORKS.

In this year's rankings, Mohawk excelled in key categories among large colleges:
- 3rd in Canada for Research Partnerships - Collaborating with 175 partners across industries.
- 3rd in Canada for Projects Completed - Successfully delivering 119 applied research projects.
- 3rd in Canada for Industry Research Income - Highlighting strong engagement and investment from industry partners.
- 3rd in Canada for Student Researchers - Providing hands-on opportunities for 215 students, a 24% increase from last year.
In Ontario, Mohawk College has ranked 2nd in Research Partnerships, 2nd in Industry Research Income, and 3rd in Student Researchers, reflecting its commitment to fostering meaningful collaborations among industry, students, and researchers to advance applied research across various sectors.
