VSB is delighted to announce that Jessie Gresley-Jones has accepted the position of executive director, facilities with VSB. Jessie joins the school district from the City of Toronto where he served in the leadership position of director, capital projects- parks, forestry and recreation since February 2023.
Jessie brings more than 12 years of strategic experience in the areas of capital and municipal planning, construction and financial management, operations and environmental sustainability, including as a planner at the City of Vancouver and District of North Vancouver, as well as general manager of climate action, planning and development services for the Resort Municipality of Whistler. He holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto, Bachelor of Environmental Studies and Planning from the University of Waterloo and Certificate in Construction Law from York University.
In his role, he will be responsible for the development, maintenance and oversight of facilities services in the school district, encompassing strategic facilities planning, educational planning, facilities maintenance, major capital projects procurement and administration.
