The Battle River School Division Board of Trustees will have familiar faces on the executive for the coming year, though in different seats.
Laurie Skori and Lorrie Sitler will act as Chair and Vice Chair of the BRSD Board of Trustees for the coming year.
Laurie Skori, Trustee from Flagstaff County East, will take on the role of Board Chair, after serving as Vice Chair last year.
Lorrie Sitler, a Trustee for the City of Camrose, was selected as the Vice Chair for 2016-2017. Ms. Sitler served as Board Chair last year and was also Vice Chair from 2013 - 2015.
During the annual Organizational Meeting of the Board, members also selected their committee placements for the coming year, handled a few other "housekeeping" items required in order to get the year underway and confirmed that they will continue to meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, starting at 9:00 a.m.
Board meeting of the 2016-2017 school year will take place on September 8.
