Buffalo Trail Public Schools (BTPS) is proud to be collaborating with the Galileo Educational Network, Werklund School of Education, University of Calgary, to support the BTPS mission of "maximizing student learning in a safe and caring environment supported by a highly effective team."
Galileo provides professional learning opportunities throughout the school year for BTPS teachers who fulfill the role of Peer Instructional Coaches to continue to build their expertise in designing intellectually engaging learning opportunities for students. Additionally, Galileo has worked with individual teachers from three BTPS schools who were part of a district pilot project focussed on teaching through an inquiry approach.
