Stacy Brouwer, our fifth/sixth grade teacher at Provost Public School, was selected as a winner of the Alberta Excellence in Teaching Awards at a ceremony in Calgary over this past weekend! I have had the chance to personally visit Stacy's classroom and I am not surprised that she was selected as she is an exceptional teacher. In reviewing the submission for the award, Stacy's work in her classroom exemplifies the work being done by our entire team to maximize student leaning. Barry Scinski wrote that students in Stacy's classroom have the privilege of being served, loved and challenged by one of the most dynamic, thoughtful and motivating teachers he has met in all his 30 years of teaching and administration. We want to congratulate Stacy on her award! What an incredible individual achievement and what an incredible accomplishment for our BTPS team!
