FSD Announces Leadership Appointments

We are pleased to share the following leadership appointments for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year:

Shirley Novak, Divisional Learning Coach

It is our pleasure to share that Ms. Shirley Novak will be moving from her position as vice principal at École Percy Pegler School to take on the role of Divisional Learning Coach for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Ms. Novak has a long and successful career and a proven record as a Learning Coach. She possesses the knowledge and skills for this crucial position. Her strong dedication to inclusion and support for the diverse needs of students will surely enhance the learning experience for everyone. We thank Ms. Novak for her excellent leadership at ÉPPS, and we look forward to the positive difference she will keep making within the school division in her new role.

Katlin Strand, Acting Vice Principal

We are delighted to share that Ms. Katlin Strand will be joining the team at École Percy Pegler School as Acting Vice Principal for the 2024-2025 school year. Ms. Strand has a wealth of teaching experience and has shown exceptional leadership skills as a learning coach. Ms. Strand is part of the current Learning and Leading cohort for aspiring leaders within FSD. She has always been dedicated to building strong relationships with students, colleagues, and families, and has consistently helped to create a supportive and enriching learning environment. We are sure that Ms. Strand's expertise and commitment will be a great asset to our ÉPPS community.
