The Board of Education of School District No. 67 (Okanagan Skaha) is pleased to announce another new partnership that will greatly benefit local families and community members. As part of our ongoing commitment to serve the community, we have leased the gymnasiums at Parkway Elementary, Carmi Elementary, and Giants Head Elementary to the YMCA of Southern Interior British Columbia (YSIBC).
These spaces will be transformed into vibrant community hubs offering inclusive, accessible and affordable wellness, fitness, and recreational programming for people of all ages.
The gymnasiums at Parkway Elementary, Carmi Elementary, and Giants Head Elementary will soon be home to a wide range of programs designed to support health, wellness, social connection. Through this partnership, YSIBC will provide opportunities for recreation, fitness, and community connection, ensuring that everyone from children and youth to adults and seniors can take part in activities that support their well-being.

Long Term Leasing Opportunities
The Board of Education continues to accept proposals for long-term lease opportunities at Carmi Elementary (classrooms and office space), Parkway Elementary (classrooms) and Giant's Head Elementary (classrooms and office space).
