Admin Changes

As a result of retirements, school closures and reconfigurations, The Board of Education of School District No. 67 (Okanagan Skaha) is pleased to announce the following administrative changes:

1. Retirement notice and/or resignations:

• Dave Burgoyne, Assistant Superintendent, effective July 31, 2016
• Don MacIntyre, Director of Instruction, effective July 31, 2016
• Dave Brunelle, Principal, Skaha Lake Middle School, effective July 31, 2016

The Board thanks Mr. Burgoyne, Mr. Brunelle and Mr. MacIntyre for their commitment and contributions to our schools, district and the teaching profession. We wish Mr. MacIntyre all the best as he moves on to exciting and challenging educational endeavors in Doha, Qatar. As well, we wish Mr. Burgoyne and Mr. Brunelle all the best in their retirement.

2. Reassignments:

3. Appointments:

• Todd Manuel, Director of Instruction - Student Services to Assistant Superintendent of Schools, effective August 1, 2016
• Allen Beckingham, Principal of Aboriginal Education and Principal, West Bench Elementary to District Principal of District Programs and Curriculum (ConnectEd, Aboriginal Education & French Immersion), effective August 1, 2016
