Georges P. Vanier School sent two bands to perform at the North Peace Music Festival in Peace River on Tuesday, March 28.
The Beginner Band earned a platinum award in their category with a superior ranking, and the Junior Band students earned a gold award in their category with a distinction rating.
Additionally, both bands were awarded the Eckhart Family Band Award, valued at two hundred dollars.
