Pacific Rim School District Board of Education Announces Administrative Changes for the 2023-24 School Year

Pacific Rim School District Board of Education is pleased to congratulate the following people on their new upcoming roles in the 2023-24 school year. We are thrilled to witness their professional growth and development. Their exceptional performance has made it clear that they are ready to take on new challenges and make an even greater impact on our organization. We have full confidence that they will excel in this position.

• Jaime Hansen is moving from District Principal to Director of Instruction - Indigenous Education
• Marc Fryer is moving from District Principal to Director of Instruction - International and Newcomer Programs
• Katherin Charbonneau is moving from Manager of Early Learning to Director Early Learning and Childcare
• Carla Neville is moving from Manager of Administration and Contract Services, Communications and Governance to Controller
• Trisha Wilson is moving from Executive Assistant to Manager of Human Resources
• Lisa Fryer is moving from Acting Vice Principal to Vice Principal of Howitt Elementary School

The Board of Education welcomes the following people to the Pacific Rim School District admin team. These wonderful additions to the team bring new perspectives, skills, and experiences that will contribute to our collective success.

• Pam Chandler will be the new Vice Principal at Ecole Alberni Elementary School
• Robin Schmitt will be the new Vice Principal at Bamfield Community School
• Lisa Tremblay will be Acting Vice Principal Eighth Avenue Learning Center starting October 1, 2023
• Nick Seredick will be Acting Principal of Eighth Avenue Learning Center starting on October 1, 2023

We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the following people who have committed to another year in roles that ensure stability within the team. Their contributions have made a meaningful difference, and we are fortunate to have them as part of our team.

• Robyn Ross is continuing as Acting Principal of Ucluelet Elementary School
• Carly Green is continuing as Acting Vice Principal of Ucluelet Elementary School
