Muriel Halabisky - 'Aboriginal Educator of the Month'

Muriel Halabisky (Beardy) started her teaching career with Frontier School Division in 1997 and moved into Adult Education in the Division in 2000. She is interested in many activities and is very involved in her community. She is a Councilor with the Town of Grand Rapids and is on the Youth and Recreation Committee and the Winter Festival Committee. She is also a parent to six children (four siblings that she fosters) and is an active hockey mom!
