The Hanover School Division Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Joel Bergen has been appointed principal of Clearspring Middle School, effective for the 2026-27 school year.
Joel is currently the principal of Kleefeld School, a position he has held since 2020, after serving as the school's vice-principal and resource teacher (2015-2020). Before joining the staff at Kleefeld School, Joel taught at Stonybrook Middle School (2012-2015), where he also served as part-time vice-principal and acting principal. His teaching experience in the Hanover School Division includes Steinbach Junior High School (2008-2012) and Niverville Elementary School (2002-2006).
Joel holds a Bachelor of Arts (2000) and a Bachelor of Education (2002) from the University of Manitoba.
The Board of Trustees congratulates Joel and wishes him all the best in his new position.
