The Board of Trustees of Seine River School Division is pleased to announce the following leadership appointments:
Chris Szun, Assistant Superintendent - Curriculum & Instruction
Chris Szun's career in education has spanned 27 years within Seven Oaks, Sunrise and Seine River School Divisions. He has held numerous roles in education including; Middle Years / High School Teacher, Vice-Principal in both K-8 & High School and most recently, Principal at Collège St. Norbert Collegiate for the last 8 years.
Chris understands and values the culture of Seine River and has developed excellent professional relationships throughout our division. He has worked successfully with school teams to develop collaborative learning opportunities, build positive learning environments, address diverse needs, and provide appropriate educational programming for all students.
Teresa Hampton, Assistant Superintendent - Student Services
For the last 21 years, Teresa Hampton has acquired experience as a classroom teacher, resource teacher, Student Services Consultant and Principal within the Seine River School Division. She has developed a passion and personal commitment in supporting students for success. Throughout her career and community work, Teresa has been committed to creating inclusive environments for student learning and responding to the diverse needs of our school communities.
She brings a strong understanding of assessment and instructional practices that guide the implementation of curriculum to be engaging and accessible for all learners. She has extensive experience in collaboratively developing appropriate programming to ensure all students experience success.
We are very excited for Chris and Teresa to commence their new senior administrative roles and wish them much success as our new Assistant Superintendents.
