Seawood is celebrating their Outstanding principal Mr. Bedard! The school wanted to acknowledge him for the wonderful award that was announced this week - Canada's Outstanding Principal Award. Every student signed a large banner displayed in the hall with helium balloons and enough cake for the entire student body and staff.
Seawood also has a unique group of grade four students who are fundraising on their own time for Leukemia. They have been making and selling loom bracelets and are donating all of the proceeds to Leukemia. Their poster reads "Looms for Leukemia". It is such a thoughtful thing to do and a great precedence to set for the other students and members of the Seawood Community.
