Technology teacher selected as WorkSafeNB's Health and Safety Educator Award recipient

Technology teacher Mr. Ben Kelly has been selected as the WorkSafeNB's Health and Safety Educator Award recipient for 2018. He was awarded his personal and program prize Tuesday at Caledonia Regional and it will be used to further support hands-on learning activities in his program. Thanks WorkSafeNB!

Caledonia Regional was just informed that Mr. Ben Kelly's grant application "Capacity for Courage STEMpathy Centre - Engage, Empathize and Empower!" was selected for funding and will be receiving $7000 to support this project. Rural students will reach out using Microsoft's Skype to other students from around the world and by understanding those students better it is hoped the program will help our students understand themselves better too! 

Caledonia Regional celebrated their Excelsior Awards Wednesday evening.  Middle School Female athlete of the Year went to Maleigha Turner-Lutes and the Middle School Male Athlete of the Year was given to Marshall Snider.   Crystal Crossman received the High School Female Athlete of the Year and Lucas Faulkner received the High School Male Athlete of the Year.
